One&Only launches Private Homes in Mauritian resort
Hospitality group One&Only has just entered the residential real-estate game with its first collection of Private Homes at One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius. Having undergone a major renovation in 2017, which saw the resort completely reimagined, this sees the next step in the brand’s evolution with the new product offering the opportunity for investors to buy exclusive freehold beachfront residences. It’s also an extension of the One&Only experience in that it will feature signature ultra-luxury service.
The exclusive community will feature 52 villas set on two kilometres of beach on the resort’s secluded peninsula. The Private Homes are available in five different designs and range from two to six bedrooms. Their architecture is inspired by their surroundings and buyers will have the choice between two styles – ‘Modern Mauritian’ (pitched roofs) and ‘Contemporary’, which features flat roofs.
All feature private terraces perfect for entertaining, kitchens that can be pre-stocked ahead of arrival, and secluded gardens where guests can retreat, as well as large swimming pools.
“Owning a piece of One&Only is something that our guests have been requesting for some time, and we are truly going to be building communities and friendships around the world with the launch of our Private Homes,” says Hugues Jannet, Director of Private Homes at One&Only Le Saint Géran. “Residents will enjoy access to all of the experiences available at One&Only Le Saint Géran including the restaurants, Fitness Centre, One&Only Spa, water sports centre, tailored adventures and immersive excursions. In addition, owners will have access to private chefs for special occasions, personal trainers, spa therapists, babysitters and more. The One&Only Private Homes will be fully maintained and serviced by the resort on an ongoing basis, making ownership easy.”
Additionally, owners will enjoy priority status for reservations to the resort’s restaurants, experiences and events, and their own 5000 square metre Beach Club.
“Many people are opting for the island life in Mauritius, not only for its beauty, but certainly for greater financial and tax security,” says Hugues Jannet. “South Africans buying a Private Home at One&Only Le Saint Géran will be entitled to a Mauritian Residency Permit. The island is fast paced in its overall growth and offers sound infrastructure – plus it is a short plane ride from South Africa.”
