The breezy new accommodation by The Forum Company
Events and conferencing outfit, the forum company has just broadened its reach with the launch of new accommodation. Situated in Lanseria – a 30-minute drive from Sandton (and just minutes from Lanseria International Airport) white light/the rooms is a revamp and extension of what was previously white light/the quarters.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the Highveld, this reimagined hospitality offering consists of 12 en-suite rooms – each decorated differently to give it its own unique personality. An emphasis on comfort, and an atmosphere of simplicity and relaxation are complemented by contemporary and stylish but unfussy design.
The rooms come in three categories – Signature Suites, Superior Suites and Studio Suites – and all have king-size beds decked with 400 thread-count linen; high-quality mattresses and a choice of summer/winter duvets. The en-suite bathrooms are kitted out with luxury amenities and bathrobes and tea and coffee and complimentary Wi-Fi is standard across the spectrum.
“Our idea was to create a home-away-from-home, with the focus very much on a perfect night’s sleep, because that matters the most whether you are a bride preparing for your wedding day, a guest enjoying a weekend getaway or a business person overnighting midweek. Sleep and rest are important and quite undervalued in today’s world,” says Glynis Hyslop, MD the forum company.
Equally suited to catering for a solo escape as it is for a milestone birthday or wedding party, white light/the rooms has an on-site restaurant which is open for breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. If you’ve booked out the whole place, you also have the option of booking a private chef who will be at your disposal during your stay.
