The first step in designing your own piece of culinary craftsmanship is selecting between the many Lacanche models available.  From the compact and efficient Cormatin to the popular Cluny and Sully models, each offers a different configuration of ovens and hob rings, as well as additional features. The Cluny 1800, for example, comes with vertical warming ovens flanking the two ovens in the centre, as well as complementary hob add-ons that include additional gas, electric ceramic or induction rings, deep fryer, grill, flat-top grill, or multi-cooker. The Chagny comprises two classic 55-litre ovens, five hob rings and a smaller grilling oven, while the Vougeot offers one large oven and a choice between either an ambient-temperature cabinet or a vertical warming oven, and complementary accessories include smooth or ridged grill plates, or a removable simmer plate.

As each model differs in length, space constraints naturally play a part in your selection, but it’s also where customers can  decide which features will complement their style of cooking.  Cook a lot of pasta or steam vegetables regularly? The multi-cooker uses the simplicity of water and steam for stunning results. For meat-lovers, the ridged griddle is an excellent addition, and the plancha is perfect for searing fish or lightly grilling vegetables and meat. Those who regularly cook with woks can select a cast-iron wok stand in their configuration, and Lacanche’s professional deep fat fryer is powerful enough to cook all kinds of chips and fritters to perfection.

Once the cooker model and features have been selected, customers can then choose between 24 exclusive enamel shades of intense colours. The enamel is baked onto the cooker at a very high temperature (850°C), achieving the elegant Lacanche finish that is long-lasting and low-maintenance. Customers can also choose between a modern and classic style, as well as the materials used for handle finishings – these include nickel, brass, chrome or brushed stainless steel. The cookers are easy to install, free-standing, and can be accompanied by a hood.
