Going with the glow
Dior takes foundation to the next level with its Forever Skin Glow
Formulated around the concept of loving your skin rather than camouflaging it, the newly improved Dior Forever foundation collection from the Dior Makeup team is all about revealing the skin’s inherent beauty. ‘Whatever relationship women have with their makeup, everyone wants that perfect sublime complexion that foundation gives them,’ says Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup.
The high-perfection, imperceptible and long-wearing formula, now goes even further with 24-hour wear and incredible comfort thanks to a reinforced skincare action (rather than a cosmetic focus). This approach allows the products to not only maintain but improve the quality of the skin while you wear them thanks to carefully calculated ingredients, including pansy extract (a hydration booster which provides balanced water circulation in the skin) and protective rose fruit extract (an anti-pollution protector which protects the skin from external aggressors and reduces the appearance of dilated pores).
The new Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation joins the iconic Forever Matte – the new addition to the range has been added to offer options depending on a woman’s style, mood and the time of day. ‘With Forever, we have entered a new era for foundation. Woman today who are ever more experts in terms of makeup can play with foundation effects in the same way as they instinctively play with lipstick effects,’ says Philips.
The shine-free luminous texture has lightweight oils that add glide but evaporate on application. Hydrating agents add luminosity and radiant powder boosts light reflection. “Forever Skin Glow is versatile. Depending on the ambient light it provides different effects. In soft lighting, it catches the light intermittently. During the day, in the sunlight, its presence is bolder,” says Peter Philips
A well-calibrated range of 67 shades matches every subtle nuance of all skin tones. The palette of beiges is available with hues and tones of rose, amber, olive, and peach to fuse with every skin tone, from the lightest to the darkest.
